About our Sessions

We want to ensure our clients are getting a full service experience. We offer an exclusive client wardrobe with dresses for moms and adorable outfits for children and babies to remove the stress of what to wear. We also coordinate hair and makeup so you feel pampered and look your best. After the session, we guide you through your photographs and help you choose the best options to showcase them on the walls of your home and in beautiful heirloom albums that we personally design for you.

Maternity

Newborn

We recommend photographing your maternity session between 28-34 weeks. That way you feel your best and are still comfortable. This session can take place in our studio or on location at a field or beach. This can be an intimate session with just mom or include the whole family.

For those sleepy baby images we recommend photographing within 2-3 weeks of the birth. You are welcome to come to our studio or we can come to your home. Lifestyle newborn sessions are scheduled within the first two months of the birth. This allows for more candid photographs and an emphasis on the entire family, not just baby.

Baby Milestone

FamilY

Never miss out on those in between moments of your little one grabbing toes, sitting up and all those squishy rolls! This simplicity session takes place in our studio, is 20 minutes and is just the right amount of time to capture your happy baby. We also offer this for maternity sessions as well.

Chase your little ones around, play together, snuggle in tight and give them kisses. All while we candidly capture you naturally interacting with one another. We will be sure to get images of each family member looking at the camera. Don't worry about your squirmy toddler, we have many tricks up our sleeves to get them laughing and having a good time!

We promise to fill your home with warmth and sentimentality. Our job is not complete until your portraits are hung on your walls or bound together in a custom designed album. All of your artwork is hand crafted in the USA using conservation grade materials so that you can be assured your portraits will last for generations, becoming the heirlooms you pass down to your children.

We make this happen by custom designing your artwork to your space, removing the guess work while ensuring you love it once installed in your home. Forty Seven Moments is a luxury portrait studio located in Bethel, Connecticut, serving clients from Fairfield and Westchester counties and the surrounding areas.

They won’t let me swap them out or move them!

When we moved into our home over 10 years ago, I put framed images of each of our kids above our fireplace. I had the intention of moving them when I found a piece of artwork that worked with the space.

Time passed and I mentioned to my kids that I would be relocating their elementary portraits.

I was not expecting their response. All three of them objected to this idea.

In my mind, I was the one who really cared about our family portraits, especially the framed pictures on our walls.

It wasn’t until I suggested moving the pictures that I realized how important they were to each of my teenage kids!

To them, those pictures represented their childhood. Those memories were a part of their home, their upbringing and their security within it.

My eyes were opened to the value of a framed photographed that is prominently displayed in the home.

It’s not just about looking pretty. It represents emotional depth in a child’s life. Something deeper than we will ever know.

To all the parents reading this, you NEED framed photographs of your family in your home.
