I am a wife and mom of three and have been pursuing my passion of photography for over two decades now.
As I raise my own family, I learn to cherish each day and savor the moments I have with them. I believe in the power of preserving memories by writing them down, photographing them and sharing them with others.
I love helping moms tell their stories through photographs. I am continually inspired by the beauty in light, nature, and simplicity along with neutral tones and textures. As I bring these elements into my work, I am filled with joy which I hope to spread to those around me.
Relationships are a priority and I desire to truly connect with my clients. I love hearing their stories and gaining an understanding of where they will place their final images. I understand the stress of planning a family portrait session and how to display the artwork created.
My goal is to walk moms through the entire portrait process and make their photography experience one they will cherish forever.

One of the biggest reasons I encourage maternity sessions is that they make your newborn session feel so much easier.
By the time your baby arrives, we’ll have already spent time together. You know how I guide you into natural poses, which angles you love, and what to expect. Instead of wondering what to do in front of the camera, you can simply relax and enjoy those first precious moments with your little one.

And your newborn session becomes less about figuring everything out and more about soaking in this new season of life.
The best photographs happen when there’s trust, and that’s something we begin building long before your baby is born.

I’ve been a mom for 19 years and a small business owner for over 20… and somehow, both journeys can still feel surprisingly lonely at times.
That’s why I was immediately drawn to @meetatkinn and its mission to create a space where moms can find real connection — whether they’re working, returning to work, building a business, or simply figuring it all out as they go.
Last weekend, I had the honor of visiting KINN as a vendor at their Community Baby Shower, and it was such a meaningful experience. From the moment I walked in, there was an overwhelming sense of warmth and community.
I loved sharing the heart behind Forty Seven Moments Photography, hearing other moms’ stories, connecting with fellow business owners who serve growing families, and meeting other photographers along the way.
There’s something really special about women coming together to support one another in every season of motherhood.
I already know I’ll be back at KINN, and I hope I get to see you there too 🤍

One of my favorite parts of the First Year Collective Membership is getting to document every beautiful stage from maternity all the way through the first birthday session.
By the time we reach the one-year milestone, I’ve watched this family grow, change, and settle into life together in such a meaningful way.
These sessions become so much more than photos over time, which is what makes the final session feel so special.
