What better time to eat cake than on your first birthday?
A cake smash session is a great way to wrap up the First Year Collective.
It’s typically the final session of documenting a child’s first year.
We love to start by capturing candid moments with baby and family. Once all of the “clean” portraits have been taken, we transition to the messy part.
It’s always fun to see how babies react to their cake. Some aren’t quite sure what to do, while others dive right in.
Either way, it makes for some great memories!!

You can’t slow down time, but you can preserve it.

I love seeing our family album on our coffee table each day as I pass by.
Every so often, I stop and flip through the pages.
I’m overwhelmed with gratitude for my family and I can’t believe how much my kids have changed in such a short time. My son is now 6’ tall!
