When should you take maternity Pictures?
The best time to schedule your maternity photos is usually in the third trimester, between 26 and 34 weeks (or the 7th and 8th month of pregnancy). This is when the belly starts to show its nice, round shape. This time can vary depending on your body and whether it's your first or subsequent pregnancy.

Where is the Best Place to take Maternity Photos?
Many of our expecting moms love to take maternity pictures outdoors in a field or on a beach. We also have an indoor studio. We will choose the location based on your vision for the shoot.
What is the best color to Wear for Maternity Photos?
Soft, neutral colors are always best. This allows for the most important parts of your images - your expression and interactions - to shine through. We will schedule a styling appointment prior to your session to go over specifics of wardrobe and planning to help you coordinate the best maternity outfits.

I’ve been a mom for 19 years and a small business owner for over 20… and somehow, both journeys can still feel surprisingly lonely at times.
That’s why I was immediately drawn to @meetatkinn and its mission to create a space where moms can find real connection — whether they’re working, returning to work, building a business, or simply figuring it all out as they go.
Last weekend, I had the honor of visiting KINN as a vendor at their Community Baby Shower, and it was such a meaningful experience. From the moment I walked in, there was an overwhelming sense of warmth and community.
I loved sharing the heart behind Forty Seven Moments Photography, hearing other moms’ stories, connecting with fellow business owners who serve growing families, and meeting other photographers along the way.
There’s something really special about women coming together to support one another in every season of motherhood.

One of my favorite parts of the First Year Collective Membership is getting to document every beautiful stage from maternity all the way through the first birthday session.
By the time we reach the one-year milestone, I’ve watched this family grow, change, and settle into life together in such a meaningful way.
