CT Maternity Session – Beach Photography

This motherhood maternity session was an absolute dream! After being cooped up in the house for quarantine for three months, I was like a kid in a candy shop photographing this session.

This time of waiting, expecting and growing is incredibly precious for a mom. There is nothing quite like carrying a sweet baby inside your body. It’s amazing how fast time passes, which makes it always a good idea to capture it!

Maternity Pictures with a Toddler

This beautiful mama is expecting baby number two and wanted to be sure she had some photos to remember this special time carrying her little girl. Big brother, Jameson, joined in for some snuggles and playful images. Watching the two of them together made me remember when I was pregnant with my second and third. Each time there was excitement, yet uncertainty as to how our family would be with another child. I could never fully imagine how I would have enough love for another child because I was already busting with love for the babies I had. But, somehow, each time another child was added to our family the love grew and the new addition made our lives even better than we could have imagined.Beach Maternity Photos

If I had to choose one location to photograph it would be the beach. I am drawn to the simple backdrop and the movement of water. Not to mention kicking off my shoes and sinking my feet into the soothing sand.
