Filled with abundant natural light and soft tones, this is a place for you to relax, be pampered and enjoy your maternity, newborn and small family portrait sessions.
The 47M studio has everything needed for the full portrait experience. Arrive as you are in yoga pants and enjoy your favorite beverage while having our professional hair and makeup artist help you look and feel gorgeous.
Our one-of-a-kind wardrobe room is complete with various sizes and styles of dresses for moms and little girls to choose from and try on. Comfortable seating is available with TV, toys and snacks for dads and children to stay entertained and feel at home.
Blankets, swaddles, headbands and minimalistic props have all been thoughtfully selected with you in mind. They reflect our style and will complement the photographs we will capture of you and your family. The only thing you need to bring to your newborn portrait session is you and your baby. We will take care of everything for you!

CT CHILDREN'S PHOTO STUDIO
Once your session is complete and your images have been carefully selected and edited, we will invite you back to the studio to view the full gallery of your newborn, maternity or family portrait session. We will help you narrow down your favorite photos for wall art or your custom album. We then design the perfect layout of framed photographs for the walls of your home and choose a frame that compliments your style and home décor and an album that is just right for your images. Once your viewing appointment is finished you can walk away with the assurance that everything has been taken care of.
The most important and exciting part of the full-service experience is still to come. When your frames arrive, we inspect them for quality and schedule an appointment to come personally install them in your home for you. There is no need for you to pick-up a hammer or level!

Keeping our littlest clients safe and healthy is a top priority for us. The 47M studio is fully cleaned and disinfected after each time clients are welcomed into the space. Shoes are taken off at the door to ensure unwanted dirt and salt are not brought inside. We encourage you to bring a pair of cozy socks or slippers during the winter months. Masks are worn by us at all times to keep you and your family members at ease.

They won’t let me swap them out or move them!
When we moved into our home over 10 years ago, I put framed images of each of our kids above our fireplace. I had the intention of moving them when I found a piece of artwork that worked with the space.
Time passed and I mentioned to my kids that I would be relocating their elementary portraits.
I was not expecting their response. All three of them objected to this idea.
In my mind, I was the one who really cared about our family portraits, especially the framed pictures on our walls.
It wasn’t until I suggested moving the pictures that I realized how important they were to each of my teenage kids!
To them, those pictures represented their childhood. Those memories were a part of their home, their upbringing and their security within it.
My eyes were opened to the value of a framed photographed that is prominently displayed in the home.
It’s not just about looking pretty. It represents emotional depth in a child’s life. Something deeper than we will ever know.
