We photograph maternity portrait sessions year round either in our Bethel, CT photography studio or on location outside. We plan months in advance and if the session is booked for outside we work around the weather.
During this client’s wardrobe and planning appointment we decided that we would photograph at the beach. Their session was scheduled for March at Sherwood Isle in Westport, CT. The temperature is generally pretty cold during that time of year, but we were willing to be adventurous. The day arrived and we were pleasantly surprised by how beautiful and unseasonably warm it was for winter in New England. The sun was out and it was in the low 60s. My husband, Brian, came to assist and chat baseball with Russ. Our three kiddos even came along to spend some time in the sand while we photographed.
It was a day we won’t soon forget with much needed time outside after a long winter of being cooped up. I’m excited to share their images with you. You’ll see I have many favorites! Megan’s blush dress was borrowed from the Forty Seven Moments client closet. This is a service we offer with all of our signature photography sessions.
