CT Christmas Mini Sessions – A Family Tradition You Won’t Want To Miss

We are excited to announce our Second annual CT Christmas mini sessions for your children! We call them Christmas Cheer Sessions.

What are CT Christmas mini sessions?

Mini sessions are shorter in length of time from our full sessions. They are short enough to hold the attention of little ones. We work fast to get a shot of children looking at the camera, laughing, playing, interacting with props and taking in the wonder all around them.

These playful Christmas mini sessions are sure to bring smiles to your children’s faces and help them remember all the joy surrounding their favorite season.

They are hosted in our Bethel, CT, photography studio with a cozy Christmas themed backdrop full of neutral tones, and frosted trees . We’ll also have classic Christmas music to make your spirits bright!

We promise to provide an experience your children will look back on fondly. Also, to give you timeless photographs of your children as a special keepsake from year to year.

What should children wear for mini sessions?

Kids can wear matching pajamas, their best Christmas outfit or something soft and neutral to complement our classic Christmas decor. You can easily find outfits online in stores such as Janie and JackHanna, Andersson, Gap, Old Navy, Zara and H&M.

How are mini sessions different from your regular sessions?

Our full signature sessions give our clients a luxury experience while eliminating the stress that can come with booking photography portrait sessions. In these sessions we serve our clients from start to finish by discussing details over the phone and understanding how they would like to display their portraits. Clients have use of the client wardrobe, so there is no need for shopping or worrying about what everyone should wear. We schedule hair and makeup for their session that way moms look and feel their best. After the session we reveal our client’s  photographs through a slide show and help them select their favorite images to either have custom framed for their walls or printed in an heirloom album as a precious keepsake. Finally, we install all the artwork in thier home that way they don’t have to lift a hammer.

Christmas Cheer sessions are truly a one of a kind experience. When you walk into our studio you will hear Christmas music, smell a beautiful aroma of cinnamon and balsam essential oils and your children will receive a fun little gift children they can take with them afterwards. This year we are including an adorable handmade cookie from Little Birdie Parties, a local small business.

Space is limited and these sessions will only be available for a short time, so be sure to book as soon as you can. If you’re ready to secure your Christmas Cheer mini session, you can click here to book.

We look forward to seeing you and photographing your children’s holiday portraits!

They won’t let me swap them out or move them!

When we moved into our home over 10 years ago, I put framed images of each of our kids above our fireplace. I had the intention of moving them when I found a piece of artwork that worked with the space.

Time passed and I mentioned to my kids that I would be relocating their elementary portraits.

I was not expecting their response. All three of them objected to this idea.

In my mind, I was the one who really cared about our family portraits, especially the framed pictures on our walls.

It wasn’t until I suggested moving the pictures that I realized how important they were to each of my teenage kids!

To them, those pictures represented their childhood. Those memories were a part of their home, their upbringing and their security within it.

My eyes were opened to the value of a framed photographed that is prominently displayed in the home.

It’s not just about looking pretty. It represents emotional depth in a child’s life. Something deeper than we will ever know.

To all the parents reading this, you NEED framed photographs of your family in your home.

What would it take in order to make that happen?

Much love,
Rachel
