New Year and New Services

It’s a new year and I’m looking forward to implementing a lot of new and exciting changes in order to serve our clients better. A big focus for me in 2020 is creating a genuine experience that leaves my clients feeling beautiful and loved. As part of this experience I will be offering wardrobe consultations and building up a Forty Seven Moments client closet to offer moms. This will save money for my clients and reduce the stress of trying to figure out what to wear for photo sessions. Here are a few samples of pieces I will be incorporating into the 47M studio wardrobe.

In addition to offering a studio wardrobe, we will also have an emphasis on hair and makeup as part of the client experience. Every woman we photograph deserves to look and feel her very best. Having a professional hair and makeup artist provide a soft and natural look will elevate the photos we capture and create stunning results.

My end goal is for our clients to enjoy their photographs for years to come as they view them each day framed on their walls. I want to ensure when they look at their images they are reminded of the lasting experience they had with us from start to finish.

They won’t let me swap them out or move them!

When we moved into our home over 10 years ago, I put framed images of each of our kids above our fireplace. I had the intention of moving them when I found a piece of artwork that worked with the space.

Time passed and I mentioned to my kids that I would be relocating their elementary portraits.

I was not expecting their response. All three of them objected to this idea.

In my mind, I was the one who really cared about our family portraits, especially the framed pictures on our walls.

It wasn’t until I suggested moving the pictures that I realized how important they were to each of my teenage kids!

To them, those pictures represented their childhood. Those memories were a part of their home, their upbringing and their security within it.

My eyes were opened to the value of a framed photographed that is prominently displayed in the home.

It’s not just about looking pretty. It represents emotional depth in a child’s life. Something deeper than we will ever know.

To all the parents reading this, you NEED framed photographs of your family in your home.

What would it take in order to make that happen?

Much love,
Rachel
