Studio Maternity Photography in Fairfield & Westchester: Wardrobe, Styling, & Professional H&MU Included

Experience an Elegant, Stress Free Studio Maternity Session

Close up of a white ruffled maternity gown from the Forty Seven Moments studio wardrobe for a Fairfield County maternity session.

There is one specific gown in our studio wardrobe that has quickly become a favorite for studio maternity photographs. I just can’t resist the delicate ruffles around the shoulders and the intricate detailing along the back and neckline. It’s the perfect example of the timeless and elegant aesthetic we strive for at Forty Seven Moments Photography.

As a full service photographer serving Fairfield and Westchester counties, I know that the “to-do” list for an expecting mama is long. My goal is to take “find a dress” and “get ready” off your plate entirely.

A Curated Client Closet: What to Wear

Curated client closet featuring neutral maternity dresses and gowns for photography clients in Westchester and Fairfield County.

One of the biggest hurdles to booking a session is the “what to wear” panic. Our studio wardrobe is meticulously stocked with dresses and gowns in various neutral colors, sizes, and styles to ensure we have something flattering for every silhouette.

When you book your session, the next step is a private wardrobe appointment. We don’t just hand you a dress; we help you choose the one that makes you feel most radiant. Next, we provide wardrobe and styling guidance for the rest of your family to ensure a cohesive, high end look for your portraits.

Luxury Pampering: Hair and Makeup Included

We believe every mama deserves to be pampered. To make your day as seamless as possible, we offer professional hair and makeup for our maternity sessions.

  • The Benefit: You don’t have to coordinate multiple appointments or worry about your DIY glam photographing well.
  • The Result: You arrive at the studio, sit back with a drink, and let our artists handle the rest. It’s one less thing on your busy calendar and a huge part of the stress free maternity experience.

Authentic Posing and Timeless Silhouettes

While we love a beautiful gown, the real focus is on you. We provide gentle posing direction that feels natural and intentional. Whether we are capturing fine art maternity silhouettes or joyful, candid moments, our priority is allowing your personality to shine through. We want you to feel authentic, beautiful, and entirely yourself.

They won’t let me swap them out or move them!

When we moved into our home over 10 years ago, I put framed images of each of our kids above our fireplace. I had the intention of moving them when I found a piece of artwork that worked with the space.

Time passed and I mentioned to my kids that I would be relocating their elementary portraits.

I was not expecting their response. All three of them objected to this idea.

In my mind, I was the one who really cared about our family portraits, especially the framed pictures on our walls.

It wasn’t until I suggested moving the pictures that I realized how important they were to each of my teenage kids!

To them, those pictures represented their childhood. Those memories were a part of their home, their upbringing and their security within it.

My eyes were opened to the value of a framed photographed that is prominently displayed in the home.

It’s not just about looking pretty. It represents emotional depth in a child’s life. Something deeper than we will ever know.

To all the parents reading this, you NEED framed photographs of your family in your home.

What would it take in order to make that happen?

Much love,
Rachel
